Fun thing to do together
My 6 year old just HAD to have this and I must admit we had a fun afternoon following the recipes to make everything. She's thrilled - I'm sure it will be something we do often and she wants to get more bottles so she can make gifts for her friends.
My only negative comment would be the directions for the bath fizzies - it just says to add water - not how much so we ended up with bath goop the first time around.
The fountain worked great for us although I find it to be unneccesary. A kit without the fountain would be just as much fun.
A lot of fun
I bought this item for my niece and she absolutely loves it. It first I thought that the fountain did not work well, but you just need to fill it up with more water. My niece loved making the masks, the perfume, and lip balms. She has never seen bath fizzies before and thought they were really cool. The fountain really works too. The scents are extremely fragrant and fill your whole room with the scent. I actually thinking of purchasing another one, just so I can have it on my desk at work.

The perfect accessory for sleep overs and rainy weekends, this Spa Factory set requires minimal set up. Simply use a Philips head screwdriver to insert two AA batteries (not included) in the fountain base and start mixing the ingredients. Fill the translucent flower and petals with water to see the fountain in action. Later on, its continuous motion will make sure perfumes are mixed well.
Kids can follow the recipes on colorful cardboard cards to make fun concoctions, including herbal bouquet perfume, berry chocolate chip bath fizzies, or carnival candy lip gloss. There's hints for mixing up a calming clay facial mask, and if the included recipes aren't adventurous enough for your children, they can invent their own.
Each kit comes with two fragrance oil packets and two flavor oil packets, so little girls may be mixing popular scents like lavender and jasmine with the fresh aroma of pink grapefruit. An adult may want to help out, especially at first, so the strongly scented oils don't overpower creations or end up in sensitive eyes.
